Johann Schmidt was not the only person to use the Red Skull identity. Aside from George Maxon, a communist agent named Albert Malik also used the Red Skull persona in the 1950s, fighting the replacement Captain America of that era.
2)
In the comics, the Red Skull has died multiple times. His consciousness has survived by being transferred to new host bodies, most notably a clone of Steve Rogers, which he inhabited for many years. This storyline began in Captain America #350 (1989) by Mark Gruenwald.
3)
The actors who have portrayed the Red Skull in live-action are Hugo Weaving in Captain America: The First Avenger and Ross Marquand in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. A much lower-budget film was also made in 1990, starring Scott Paulin as the character.
4)
The Red Skull's “Dust of Death” was one of the many elements inspired by pulp heroes and villains of the 1930s, who often used exotic and signature methods of murder.
5)
The storyline where Red Skull steals Professor X's brain and becomes Red Onslaught begins in the first volume of Uncanny Avengers (2012) by Rick Remender.
6)
The decision to transform the Red Skull into the Stonekeeper in the MCU was a creative way to bring back a popular villain from Phase 1 and tie his fate directly into the overarching Infinity Saga, providing a surprising and thematically resonant conclusion to his story.
